Coughing Leopard is an independent production company serving the South West of WA.

It's built on more than 30 years of senior experience across broadcast journalism, television news and factual documentary storytelling — that includes roles as an Executive Producer, News Director and Story Producer at the Seven and Ten networks, as well as more than a decade teaching videojournalism at Murdoch University.

We work with the people behind the product.  We take the time to understand your business, listen to your story, then get to work creating content that makes a measurable difference. No assumptions, no generic approaches - just honest, grounded storytelling that connects with the people you're trying to reach.

Our founder Andrew Porter brings end-to-end capability across the full production spectrum — from content strategy and scripting through to filming, interviewing, editing and delivery. That means your project is handled with consistency and care from the first conversation to the final cut.

We specialise in working with regional food and drink producers, as well as the landscapes, communities and industries that define our state. We help to find the story worth telling — then make sure the right people hear it.
